It's not had to get anyone in front of my camera and take a picture, but to get someone who is more then just beautiful, but also a very skilled model, makeup artist and just great to work can be rare. Thank you AJ! AJ Torres was a blast. I always tell my models and subject what I want but I knew she was going to bring all the elements to the lab and she did just that. I can't wait till the next time.

Edits, edits and more beautiful edits in route. Some people feel that photographers have it so easy. Click, click and your done. (WE) only wish it were like that. I wish I actually spent more time shooting then anything. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy my finally results and creating stunning images through external design, but its time consuming. Soooo I guess I'll go edit something...

Not to long ago I informed my friend Toronda "where shooting today," and that's what happen. Sometimes you just gotta show em who's boss. All jokes aside, I had a couple great ideas for a shoot and she loved them. So the journey began. I needed to get her make-up done so over to the M.A.C. store at Lenox Mall in Buckhead we went and met up with Make-Up Artist AJ. She not only did a great job but is an amazing person, down to earth and listen to my needs for the shoot. (Connect with here on Instagram @ayejeezytk.) I even took some time to find some nice color combinations while AJ was handling some other things. I'm no make-up artist but I know a thing or two about colors I like. Make-up, lights and poses. We made it happen.

Many people can come up with ideas, projects, or even plans for later that day, but most aren't willing to carry them out. What's your big or small idea that you have been sitting on? I have several projects I am starting and I look forward to sharing them in the future. I remember years ago while training in the military, I had a First Sergent who's favorite thing to say was "Never Quit," it was even painting on our work out platform. So to those around me and those I haven't met yet, I say "Never Quit" regardless of your project, plans, or agenda. Make it happen.
Not everyone is comfortable in their own skin, let alone share it with those they barley know to see. Then there are those who are willing to take a shot in the dark and that's just what mother of one Felicia did. One form of photography that offers its challenges is Boudoir Photography, especially with a regular girl like Felicia. No model here, just a laid back girl with a beautiful daughter, that she loves to converse about. She took great direction and relaxed just enough to fight though her nervousness while allowing me to capture her. She hasn't spent much time in front of a professional camera or setting for that matter, although you would never be able to tell.

Have you eve watched a hot couple ance, touch or well...... I got the chance to watch model Corea and Denzel elegantly pose and share some embracement as I captured them move as if it were rehearse just hours before. Then again maybe they did...
Not to long ago (ok last week, don't judge me) I met a really cool stylist, Ladetra Floyd-Robinson. Well I woke up nice and early just in time to catch a garage sale. This garage sale happen to be at a photography shop I love to shop with. Showcase! They had some great deals, in face most of the items were 50% off. HELLO! I kinda lost it for a minute. I had to do a little self gathering cause I wanted it all.....but I couldn't take it all with me----- sadly! #damn #maybeoneday
